TIPS ON BREWING TEA

To ensure the best flavor, always start with fresh, oxygenated water. Let the kettle water stand for a minute before pouring it over the tea.

For loose-leaf tea, place the infuser into the teapot, add the desired amount of tea (approximately 1 heaped teaspoon per cup), and pour the hot water over the leaves. Cover with the lid and steep for 1 to 5 minutes.

For flower tea, remove the infuser, add the tea ball, and pour the hot water over it. Cover and steep until the tea ball begins to unfurl and the flower opens, usually 5 to 10 minutes.

For tea bags, you can use them with or without the infuser. Simply place the bag(s) in the teapot, pour the hot water, and let it steep for 1 to 5 minutes.

CARING FOR YOUR TEAPOT

Cleaning your teapot is easy. After each use, gently rinse the teapot, infuser, and lid with warm water and dry them thoroughly.

Occasionally, you can remove the silicone rim and non-drip spout, clean them with soapy water, rinse, and dry to keep your glass teapot looking brand new.
